3rd Thursday launched last June as an evolution to the long-running Downtown Akron Artwalk with an expanded event footprint and selection of destinations. This event is now in its second season and will run the third Thursday of each month from March through December from 4-8 p.m.

The city of Akron provides a free trolley each month to more than 20 art, shopping, dining and entertainment destinations between the Northside District to the University of Akron. A trolley host is on board each month sharing interesting information along the way about the history of Akron, downtown highlights and participating businesses.

This season a second trolley will be provided to run between downtown Akron and the Countryside Conservancy farmer's market at Will Christy Park near Highland Square.

This exciting event will continue to introduce visitors to independent and locally owned businesses, events and activities that establish downtown Akron as an arts and culture destination.

Stay up to date with all the happenings, announcements, specials and highlights by following the 3rd Thursday Facebook page. Share your experiences on social media using #3rdThursdayAkron.
