The Bit Factory is a six month startup accelerator in downtown Akron spaced within the Akron Global Business Accelerator building - a tenured incubator for Akron-based businesses. We augments entrepreneurs with: actionable mentoring, a well-connected network, collaborative unique office space, and big follow-on opportunities.

Ohio is a great place to build technology companies, but we need to infuse the region with a greater dosage of Silicon Valley mindset. The Bit Factory brings technically-savvy entreprementors together with new founders and seasoned, successful advisers to create something special for the Akron region, something that supplies the right nourishment for new startups building around the Internet. We look at hardware, software, mobile app, and gaming companies.
