UA School of Music’s Jingle Jazz and Friends; Dec. 9 at E.J. Thomas Hall

Jingle Jazz and Friends – an all-new holiday spectacular – will be presented at E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 3 p.m. as part of The University of Akron School of Music’s Kulas Concert Series.

New for 2018, UA’s favorite jazzers team up with the Brass Choir, Concert Choir and Chamber Choir for a holiday extravaganza. The afternoon will feature traditional carols, jazzy holiday favorites, selections from Duke Ellington’s Nutcracker, and a few surprises.

The Kulas Concert Series is made possible by the generous support of the Cleveland-based Kulas Foundation, showcasing stellar guest, faculty and student artists.

Tickets are $12 general admission, $6 non-UA students, and free for UA students with Zip Cards. Tickets are available for purchase at www.uaevents.com, by phone at 330-253-2488, or in person at E.J. Thomas Hall or Akron Civic Theatre ticket offices Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
