Akron Zoo to host Ghost Tours

The Akron Zoo is hosting the second annual Ghost Tours on Thursday, Oct. 31 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. The event will feature guided tours of the zoo, led in partnership with Team Spectre, a leading paranormal group in northeast Ohio.

The guided ghost tours, which begin promptly at 6:30 p.m., will include legendary ghost stories filled with historical facts about the zoo and its ghostly residents. The event also includes up-close animal encounters.

Tickets are on sale now at akronzoo.org for $15 per person. This event is for guests 10 years or older.

The Akron Zoo is open 361 days a year. Summer season runs April – October. Hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and admission is $13 for adults, $11 for senior citizens, $10 for children (ages 2-14). Starting Nov. 1, hours are 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. and admission is $8 per person. Children under two are free and parking is $3. Discounts and coupons are not available on special events days.
