The Akron Zoo is a 50-acre non-profit zoo located just west of downtown in Akron, Ohio, United States. The Akron Zoo is home to over 1,000 animals representing over 100 different species and it has over 400,000 visitors annually.
At the Akron Zoo you'll come nose-to-nose with more than 1,000 animals from around the world, such as tigers, snow leopards, red pandas, penguins, Komodo dragons and so many more!
Guests may purchase tickets online in advance or at the ticket counter upon entry.
Akron Zoo Members do not need to, and should not, reserve general admission tickets online in advance. You must bring your digital membership card and photo ID when visiting to gain entry. Members must still purchase special event tickets in advance to be admitted to special events such as Boo at the Zoo and Wild Lights.
