Powerful statement on American 250 Mark the historic milestone of America’s 250th anniversary with new works and reimagined classics.
Declaration is a bold new song cycle by Damien Geter, featuring multi-Grammy-winner J’Nai Bridges. Oh, Shenandoah is a moving new arrangement by Jasmine Barnes. Works by Roberto Sierra and Jessie Montgomery vibrantly explore heritage and transformation, while Stravinsky’s Concerto for Strings in D — the composer’s first work as a naturalized American citizen — connects past and present in a timeless reflection on artistic freedom.
