Rachel Brown along with her band, The Beatnik Playboys, have been together for over 12 years. They have produced three original albums, one covering the great tunes of Patsy Cline. Their tribute to the Queen of Country Music is always a standout show that includes many of Patsy’s well known hits such as “Crazy”, “I Fall to Pieces” and “Walkin’ After Midnight.” Rachel is well known for her multi-octave voice and exceptional honky tonk/boogie-woogie piano stylings. Her “Beatnik Playboys” don’t play second fiddle to her, though, with Bill Watson on double bass/vocals, Dave Huddleston on guitar/vocals, and “The King of Drums” Roy King. Their incredible sensitivity to detail can make one close their eyes and imagine they are listening to the one and only Patsy Cline.
