Spend an afternoon celebrating the Christmas season with the beautifully majestic sounds of the mass flute choir. Hear piccolos, concert flutes, alto flutes, and contrabass flutes.

To Participate:

Flute players of all levels are invited to play. There will be young budding flutists all the way up to seasoned professionals all playing together. Anyone who would like to share their love of playing is invited to participate in the event. Participants of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to share their love of flute music.

Register at: www.akronpiccolochristmas.com/performer-registration

Rehearsal starts at 10 am on December 9 in the Akron-Summit County Public Library Auditorium. There will be a break for lunch on your own in Downtown Akron, 12:30-2:30 pm, with a concert to follow at 3:00 pm.

Participation is free. Performers should bring their own instruments and stands. Music will be provided digitally through email before the event and hard copies will be provided the morning of the event. Participants are encouraged to decorate themselves, their instruments, and their stands in their most festive Christmas attire.

Enjoy the Concert:

All you need to bring is your festive cheer and your love of Christmas and, more importantly, Christmas music!

Please dress in your most fun Holiday attire, as fancy or as festive as you want. Also, please bring your biggest singing voices for our sing-a-longs. As the great Buddy the Elf says, “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!”
