Details

Visual artist Abby Cipar will be offering in-person, one-on-one peer-editing sessions centered on providing valuable, written feedback to local artists. Through these sessions, they intend to share knowledge, experience, and resources while putting their editorial skills to work within the community. The aim of these sessions is to set individual artists up for success by assisting them in fine-tuning their written materials. As writing is often the greatest roadblock in any application cycle, the goal is to get artists well on their way to earning the grants, residencies, and opportunities they need to stay afloat!

Artists can sign up for one, 30-minute time slot (via the provided link) on September 12 or September 13. For their respective time slot, artists should plan to bring any writing they wish to have peer-edited — either on a laptop/device or in printed form. These writings might look like artist statements, biographies, CVs and resumes, or in-progress applications and proposals.
