What do you get when a musical genius confronts the inevitable? We embark with Margaret Brouwer’s The Art of Sailing at Dawn, a tranquil and optimistic launch into the evening. Schoenberg’s Transfigured Night carries us away from shore with an emotionally overflowing tide, packed with tension and beauty. The Akron Symphony Chorus joins forces with the ASO for the first time this season to bring Mozart’s Requiem to full, erupting life. Don’t miss one of Amadeus’s final and most iconic masterpieces in a concert that brings you the sun and the moon.
