Join Akron Soul Train for a thought-provoking conversation between Artist in Residence Ron Copeland and Arnold Tunstall—artist, curator, educator, and Director of the University Art Galleries at The University of Akron—as they explore the ideas, influences, and creative process behind Copeland's current exhibition, Casual Recollections.
Drawing on decades of experience as a curator, photographer, and arts leader, Tunstall will guide a discussion about Copeland's artistic practice, the development of the work on view, and the role of research, experimentation, and personal perspective in shaping contemporary art. The conversation will also reflect on Copeland's residency experience and conclude with an opportunity for audience questions.
