Connie Chung is one of the most respected and pioneering journalists in American broadcast history. Over a remarkable five-decade career, she has held anchor and correspondent roles at every major U.S. television network — ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and MSNBC — breaking barriers as the second woman and the first Asian American to co-anchor a major network evening newscast in the U.S.

Best known for her incisive interviews and journalistic integrity, Chung has covered historic events, from presidential elections to global conflicts, and conducted unforgettable interviews with world leaders and cultural icons. Her bold and groundbreaking reporting earned her a place in the homes and trust of millions of Americans.

Chung’s accolades include multiple Emmy Awards, a George Foster Peabody Award, and the National Journalism Award from the Asian American Journalists Association. She remains a vocal advocate for diversity in media and continues to inspire generations of journalists.
