The Hower House Museum welcomes all Hower school alumni this July!
The Hower Alumni Weekend will be taking place on Friday July 17th and Saturday July 18th between 12-3pm (last entry at 2:15pm). Whether you attended Hower Trade, Hower Vocational, or Central Hower, all alumni are welcome to enjoy a free tour of the Hower Family’s 1871 mansion, learn about the family’s role in Akron’s development, and discover more about the school’s founder – Blanche Bruot Hower.
In anticipation of Hower Trade School’s centennial in 2027, the opportunity to participate in a University of Akron graduate student project will also be introduced at this time.
