Downtown Akron Partnership presents the inaugural Downtown Akron Frost Fest, featuring an afternoon of winter fun, ice sculptures, a hot cocoa crawl, live music, and more throughout the neighborhood.

Visitors are encouraged to visit businesses across the neighborhood to try free crafts and activities, hear live music by local musicians and enjoy a hot cocoa and cookie crawl. Activity will be clustered at Lock 3, near Main & Exchange Streets, on Mill and Summit Streets, and in the Northside District.

Lock 3

LOTS is happening on the Lock 3 block! Take photos with Olaf at Akron Children's Museum, meet Anna and Elsa (and try a special ice cream flavor) at Chill Ice Cream, see a magician at Clayton Bailey's World of Wonders, and visit a balloon artist at Ilić Café. Plus, at Lock 3, we'll have a very special live ice-carving demonstration, where sculptors will be creating ice sculptures every hour on the hour (12, 1, 2, 3 & 4 pm).

Main/Exchange

Stop into Missing Falls Brewery to hear some live busking by local musicians from 2 to 4 pm.

Mill/Summit

Enjoy a candle-making activity at Street Craftery, and live music by Victor Samalot at El Patrón from 12 to 2 pm.

Northside District

Visit Jilly's Music Room to hear Rachel Roberts from 12:30 to 2:30 pm.

Sponsorship

Ice sculptures are available to sponsor and can incorporate sponsor logos if desired. Anyone with interest in sponsoring an ice sculpture should fill out this Google form and complete payment by January 20.
