Lion King Movie Description: Disney’s 1994 animated classic, The Lion King, tells the epic coming-of-age story of Simba, a young lion cub destined to rule the Pride Lands, whose life is upended by his villainous uncle, Scar. After Scar orchestrates the death of Simba’s father, King Mufasa, and convinces Simba that he is to blame, the cub flees into exile, adopting a carefree life with the meerkat Timon and warthog Pumbaa. Ultimately, destiny calls Simba back to confront his past, face Scar, and claim his rightful place in the “Circle of Life.”
