Curious about an Akron Soul Train residency? Come meet us!
Join us for a special Artist Residency Open House, Thursday, September 10, from 4–7 PM and get a closer look at what it means to be an Artist-in-Residence at Akron Soul Train.
Meet the AST team, explore the gallery, and learn more about the 2027 Artist-in-Residence Program, including the application process, residency experience, artist support, and opportunities for community engagement. Staff will be available throughout the evening to answer questions and help prospective applicants learn more before the September 30 deadline.
While you’re here, catch last looks at our current exhibitions featuring work by Artist-in-Residence Ron Copeland and Emerging Artist Cory Sheldon before they close. Enjoy light refreshments, explore the gallery, and bring your questions!
