The Everett was originally built as an opera house for the Academy of Music in 1870, hosting performers from all around the world. You can feel it’s rich history the moment you step inside and set eyes upon the vast, multi-level atrium. Centrally located in Akron’s Historic Arts District on the corner of Market and Main, The Everett truly is close to it all! Right outside of your door you will find live music and entertainment, delicious dining, craft beverages, independent cinema, specialty coffee roasters, and colorful murals. The Everett is steps away from the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the Akron Art Museum, The Akron Public Library, and Akron’s Business Corridor.
