The Development Finance Authority elects a new Board Member and Board Officers

Akron, Ohio (January 2020)—At its final Board meeting of 2019, the Development Finance Authority welcomed new member Mark Lerner, who has been appointed by the County of Summit, effective January 1, 2020.

Mark Lerner served as President, Chief Operating Officer, and Director of GOJO Industries since 1996. He joined GOJO in 1986 as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining GOJO, Mr. Lerner held various general management and financial executive positions with BF Goodrich for eleven years. Recently, he became President Emeritus of the company.

Also, during the meeting the DFA elected the following as Officers for the next two years:

Serving as President: Grace Wakulchik, President & CEO of Akron Children’s Hospital; Vice President: Julie Wesel, CEO of Chemstress; and Secretary: Ebony Yeboah-Amankwah, Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Ethics Officer for FirstEnergy Service Company.
