Songwriter Rachel Roberts Hosts Open Mic Night at Baxter’s Speakeasy
June 5, 2023, Akron, Ohio — Baxter’s Speakeasy welcomes Rachel Roberts to host a unique Open Mic Night highlighting all original material. Open to all musicians, poets, creators, and comedians. Bring your guitar, keyboard, saxophone, trumpet, flute, journal, poem, voice, song, joke, choir, soap box, barbershop quartet, DAW, or dance troupe. Just remember, it all has to be original material. Microphone and PA are provided. Please bring special cables if your instrument requires them.
Sign-ups start at 7pm and performances start at 7:30pm. There will be an 8-10 minute performance limit per act.

About Rachel Roberts:
Akron native singer-songwriter-guitarist Rachel Roberts has played her original compositions around the country for over a decade. Roberts has performed over 3,000 shows and recorded four albums. Recently graduated from the NEOMFA program, she also writes nonfiction essays and teaches music at Our Lady of the Elms in Akron.
