Akron Children’s Museum is hosting its annual Make Believe Midnight on Tuesday, December 30th from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with two sessions, each including a countdown to the ultimate balloon drop giving families the perfect opportunity to ring in 2026 during daytime hours!
This high-energy celebration transforms the countdown into a kid-friendly extravaganza, complete with all the sparkle and excitement of New Year's Eve—no bedtime battles required.
What to Expect:
- 2 Entry Sessions: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM & 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM
- Spectacular Balloon Drop – Experience the thrill of our countdown celebration as hundreds of colorful balloons cascade from above. No matter the session time, all children will have the opportunity to experience the ultimate balloon drop!
- Tasty Midnight Snacks – Fuel up for the celebration with delicious treats and festive bites
- Hands-On STEM Activities – Explore, experiment, and discover with exciting science challenges
