Notice of Court Schedule and Address Changes

Akron, Ohio, October 20, 2023 â€“ Beginning Monday November 13, 2023 at 8:00 a.m., the Akron Municipal Court will be headquartered in a new location: 172 S. Broadway Street in Akron. 

To prepare for our move and due to limited case record access, the courthouse will have schedule adjustments for late October and early November.

The changes are listed below:

Wednesday, October 25, 2023 through Thursday, November 9, 2023
Walk-ins and open court will not be held. Only scheduled cases will go forward. Please call in advance to schedule and to avoid long wait times. 

Limited operations will occur in the Stubbs Building during this time.

The courthouse will be closed on Friday, November 10, 2023 to observe Veterans’ Day. 

Between Wednesday, October 25, 2023 and Thursday, November 9, 2023, all court users are encouraged to call prior to coming on-site to ensure scheduling availability. A Departmental Directory can be utilized here: https://akronmunicipalcourt.org/contact/department-directory/.

The Akron Municipal Court website will be updated with a new address. Normal operations including walk-ins and open court will resume on Monday November 13, 2023. 

A formal open house will be scheduled at a later date.
