Next Brew at the Zoo is Sept. 4

AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Zoo is hosting its next Brew at the Zoo on Saturday, Sept. 4 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. Guests will sample beer and wine from local breweries and wineries while enjoying the zoo after-hours.

Vendors for the September event include Akronym Brewing, Brighten Brewing Company, Eighty-Three Brewery, Hoppin' Frog Brewery, JAFB Brewery, Lock 15 Brewing Company, Maize Valley Winery & Craft Brewery, Missing Falls Brewery, Mucky Duck Brewery, Muskellunge Brewing Company, Nauti Vine Winery, R.Shea Brewing, Thirsty Dog Brewing Co. Tap House, Two Monks Brewing Company, Wrecking Crew Brew Works and Unplugged Brewing Company. Food trucks Cookery Food Truck and Johnny Lotes Latin Street Corn will be on grounds, along with music from DJ Kenny Kidd.

Tickets include eight tastings and are $28 for Akron Zoo members and $33 for non-members. Designated driver tickets are $17 for members and $22 for non-members. Tickets are available for purchase at akronzoo.org/brew-at-the-zoo.

Special VIP tickets are also available for $43 and $25 for VIP designated drivers. VIP tickets include early entrance into the event at 6 p.m., four additional tastings and a full size beer ticket.

Brew at the Zoo is 21 years or older only, including designated drivers. Infants and children will not be admitted.

The Akron Zoo is open 361 days a year. Summer hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Admission is $13 for adults, $11 for seniors and $10 for children ages 2-14.
