METRO Regional Transit Authority to offer free fares on Election Day and Veteran’s Day
METRO RTA will have two free fare days in November: on Election Day and on Veteran’s Day. Free rides will be valid on all services on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019, and Monday, Nov. 11, 2019.
“We want to make it easy for everyone to get to the polls and we encourage people to take advantage of this opportunity to let their voice be heard,” said METRO Executive Director Dawn Distler. “In turn, we thank our Veterans and their families for the sacrifices they’ve made resulting in the freedoms we enjoy.”
