Leadership Akron Announces Next Class 10 Participants

Akron, OH (August 5, 2021) – On Aug. 5, Leadership Akron announced the Fall 2021 NEXT class. NEXT, celebrating its 10th anniversary, provides the opportunity for experienced leaders to reimagine their next chapter of community involvement and impact.

For more than 35 years, Leadership Akron has inspired participants to advance their involvement and impact as community leaders. Its graduates share a common commitment to serving the community and working together to strengthen the Akron area.

Modeled after its Signature Program, NEXT creates an immersive experience for individuals approaching, experiencing, or mastering retirement to examine community needs and assets and introduces participants to new leadership or engagement opportunities in the Greater Akron community. The program meets for eight sessions from Sept. through Nov.
