Leadership Akron Announces Applications Open
Signature and Diversity on Board applications to open March 1
AKRON, OH – (Feb. 26, 2021) – Leadership Akron applications for its 2021-2022 Signature and Diversity on Board programs open March 1, 2021. The application deadline is Fri., April 9.
Leadership Akron inspires, strengthens and empowers community members through immersive learning experiences that build leadership skills, community awareness, and connectivity. Its goal is to unlock the potential of leaders and serve as a catalyst that inspires them to create a greater Akron.
- Signature Program: Unites the area’s top leaders for an unparalleled and transformative ten-month journey of learning, collaboration, and inspiration to broaden their community impact
- Diversity on Board: Provides leadership development, education, coaching, and placement opportunities to help advance minority representation on nonprofit boards. Class meets monthly from September through March

Potential candidates are encouraged to attend a virtual informational session for Diversity on Board on March 16 and for the Signature Program on March 18, both beginning at 4:30 p.m.
