Curated Storefront Announces Summer Media, Tour & Events Guide Celebrating Akron's Bicentennial & Regional Artists

Public Invited to Attend the June 26 Opening Reception For New Murals at Outside The Box in Akron’s Northside District

AKRON, OH, June 24, 2025 – Curated Storefront announces its Summer Media, Tour & Events Guide honoring Akron's Bicentennial through dynamic art installations featuring regional talent. The community is invited to explore these unique exhibitions that showcase the creativity and spirit of Akron-affiliated artists.

The installations will be prominently displayed throughout Akron’s Contemporary Arts District along Main Street and at Outside The Box in Akron's vibrant Northside District, creating an accessible art walk that celebrates Akron's rich cultural heritage. "The Summer Media, Tour & Events Guide represents our commitment to elevating Akron's artistic landscape during this historic milestone year," said Heather Meeker, Executive Director at Curated Storefront.

The public is invited to attend the reception celebrating its new installations and new murals created by artists Alex Couch, Avery Duff, Emily Bartolone, and Kwamé Gomez. These dynamic works will transform TrueNorth Akron in the Northside District landscape while honoring Akron's bicentennial celebration.
