Clayton Bailey's World of Wonders Announces Akron Pride Festival Activities and Extended Hours

Museum to offer screenprinting workshop and mascot naming contest with $100 prize

AKRON, Ohio, Aug. 12, 2025 – Clayton Bailey's World of Wonders will celebrate Akron Pride Festival with special activities and extended hours on Saturday, Aug. 23.

In front of the museum, a screen printing workshop will be held from noon to 2 p.m. featuring designs created by Curated Storefront team members, Taylor Clapp and Evie Grubb. The designs will range in size from 9 to 12 inches and can be printed on participants’ own materials or on selected items available for purchase at the museum.

Inside the museum, visitors can check out the latest exhibits, take photos with mascots who recently joined the family of mythical creatures at World of Wonders, and enter a contest to help name them. Participants who pick their favorite names from a suggested list will be entered into a drawing to win a $100 Visa® gift card. The contest starts on August 14 and ends on August 23. Participants can enter to win at the museum during open hours. Disclaimers and rules are available at the museum or by request.

Museum hours will be extended from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the Akron Pride Festival. Admission is free, though donations are welcome. All donations and purchases support Curated Storefront's mission to transform Akron into a dynamic urban destination through the arts.
