ASO to present Home for the Holidays on Dec. 7

The Akron Symphony Orchestra invites you to celebrate the holiday season at Home for the Holidays on December 7 at 7:30 p.m.

The performance will take place at The University of Akron’s E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall.

The Orchestra, under the direction of Music Director Christopher Wilkins, will be joined by the Akron Symphony Chorus and the Akron Youth Symphony for a selection of holiday favorites, with the audience joining in on traditional carols. We will also share the stage with guest soloists Sarah Hutchins and Daniel Doty, as well as Elena Flauto and Adam David Holthaus, winners of our Northeast Ohio talent search who will duet on Night of Silence.

Prior to the concert the lobby will be transformed into a Winter Carnival, which will include photo opportunities with Santa, crafts for children of all ages and musical performances. The Winter Carnival, which is included in the price of the concert ticket, will open at 6:30 p.m. and run until just before the start of the concert.

Ring in the holiday season with the Akron Symphony Orchestra at Home for the Holidays on December 7 at 7:30 p.m. Single tickets start at just $25 and are available at akronsymphony.org or by calling 330.535.8131.
