Amer Cunningham Co. LPA Announces Jeananne M. Wickham as Newest Partner

September 1, 2026, Akron, OH — Amer Cunningham Co. LPA is proud to announce Jeananne M. Wickham as the firm’s newest partner. Jeananne has been with Amer Cunningham cumulatively for three years. Her prior experience includes serving as the Judicial Magistrate/Attorney for the Honorable Judge Kani Harvey Hightower, as an Associate for a firm in Canton, and as a Clerk for the Honorable Judge Jon A. Oldham.

Jeananne’s practice includes complex contract litigation, fraudulent business practices, consumer transaction litigation, employment litigation, catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, and civil appeals. She has handled multiple jury trials, bench trials, and oral arguments before Ohio’s Courts of Appeals. Professionally, she has been recognized by the Greater Akron Chamber as a 30 for the Future Honoree in 2026, a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Ohio for 2027, 2026, 2023, and 2022, and by Arab Americans of Cleveland as a Best of Arab Americans in 2024.

As a product of the Greater Akron area, Jeananne enjoys working in an office downtown.   She is a graduate of the University of Akron School of Law, where she competed with the Trial Team, earning the Professionalism Award at Baylor Law’s Top Gun National Mock Trial Competition and two Regional Championships and the National Runner-Up with her teams at the AAJ Student Trial Advocacy Competition. The same year, she obtained her Master of Business Administration while working as a graduate assistant in the Department of Finance at the University of Akron. Prior to her graduate studies, Jeananne earned her B.A. in Political Science magna cum laude with honors from the University of Akron, where she was recognized in various respects by the University, Greek Life, and her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi.
