Akron Zoo to Offer Several Upcoming Discounts

Wednesday, October 28, 2020, AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Zoo will offer two discounts in the next few weeks – one for Election Day and one for Veterans Day.

On Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3, the Akron Zoo is free for all guests. Parking is $3. Due to COVID-19 precautions, guests will need to reserve tickets online ahead of time. Tickets are available at akronzoo.org.

The zoo will also be offering Veterans Appreciation Days from Nov. 7 – 11. All veterans, past and present, will receive free admission and immediate family members will receive 50% off.

To reserve tickets for Veterans Appreciation Days, guests will need to call the zoo at 330-375-2550 at least 24 hours in advance to reserve tickets. Guests will need to show valid military ID upon arrival to the zoo.

The Akron Zoo is now open. Current hours are 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and admission is $8 per person. Children under two are free and parking is $3. Tickets must be purchased online in advance. For more information visit www.akronzoo.org or call (330) 375-2550.
