Akron Zoo to Offer Free Admission for Inclusion Days
February 20, 2026, AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Zoo is offering Inclusion Days on Saturday, Feb. 28 through Monday, March 2 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., in partnership with Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board. Guests who wear orange to the zoo will receive free admission for the day.
Inclusion Days at the Akron Zoo celebrate National Developmental Disabilities Awareness month in March. Inclusion Day, created by Summit DD, is a way to spread the message of inclusion and show support for people of all abilities.
The Akron Zoo is open 361 days a year. Off-season hours are 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission rates are $11 – $21. Children under two are free and parking is free. For more information visit www.akronzoo.org or call (330) 375-2550.
