Akron Zoo to Offer Election Day and Veterans Day Discounts

October 27, 2021, AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Zoo will be free for all guests on Tuesday, Nov. 2 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. for Election Day. Guests are recommended to reserve tickets online in advance at akronzoo.org. Parking rates apply.

The zoo will also be offering military veterans and their families discounted admission during Veterans Appreciation Days on Nov. 11 – 14. All veterans, past and present, will receive free admission and immediate family members will receive 50% off. To receive the discount, guests will need to present a valid military ID at the Akron Zoo ticket counter. The Veterans discount is not available online.

The Akron Zoo is open 361 days a year. Winter hours begin on Nov. 1 and are 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission is $9 per person. Children under two are free and parking is $5. For more information visit www.akronzoo.org or call (330) 375-2550.
