Akron Zoo to Launch Golden Ticket Campaign

March 30, 2021, AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Zoo is offering a golden ticket campaign in the weeks leading up to the opening of the zoo’s new area, Lehner Family Foundation Wild Asia. The golden ticket campaign is presented by T-Mobile.

Guests can visit the zoo on select days in April and May and participate in various activities. Those who complete the activity for the day will be entered to win a private tour of Wild Asia and an exclusive animal experience for up to four people.

The dates of the golden ticket campaign are April 3-4, 12, 20 28 and May 6, 14 and 22. Activities include scavenger hunts, trivia and more.

The golden ticket campaign is included with regular admission. Tickets must be purchased online at akronzoo.org due to COVID-19 safety precautions. Tickets are available via timed ticketing and guests must select an hour time slot to enter the park.

The Akron Zoo is open 361 days a year. Current hours are 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. and admission is $8 per person. Summer season begins April 4 and hours will be 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Summer admission is $13 for adults, $11 for senior citizens and $10 for children (ages 2-14).
