Akron Zoo to host Murder Mystery
June 9, 2026, AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Zoo is offering its popular Murder Mystery event on Saturday, June 20 from 6 – 9 p.m. This year’s mystery is High Stakes Hotel, a 1980s Las Vegas hot spot.
Guests are encouraged to wear their 80s attire for the evening. During the event, guests will walk through the zoo and interview the suspects to determine the murderer. The big reveal will take place at the end of the event.
Tickets include one drink ticket, participation in the mystery experience and admission to the zoo after-hours. Drink tickets may be used for non-alcoholic or alcoholic beverages. Vendors include Lock 15 Brewing, Belltower Brewing, Akronym Brewing, CLE Urban Winery, Birdie’s Food Truck and Johnny Lóte’s Latin Street Corn.
Tickets are available at akronzoo.org/murder-mystery and are $45 for Akron Zoo members and $50 for non-members.
The murder mystery production is in partnership with Get Away with Murder, Inc. The event is for guests 21 years and older only. Infants and younger children will not be admitted.
