Akron Zoo to Host First Brew at the Zoo on June 12

June 3, 2021, AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Zoo will host its first Brew at the Zoo of the year on Saturday, June 12, from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. This will be the first of five Brew events this year.

Guests will be able to choose to sample beer and wine from 16 different breweries and wineries. Tickets include eight tastings and after-hours admission into the zoo. A limited number of VIP tickets are available and include early 6 p.m. entry, 12 tastings and a full-sized beer ticket.

Vendors for June’s event include Akronym, Blue Monkey, Eighty-Three, HiHO, Hoppin’ Frog, Maize Valley, Missing Falls, Mucky Duck, Nauti Vine, North Water, Paradigm Shift, Platform, Thirsty Dog, Tow Monks, Working Class and Wrecking Crew. The three food truck vendors are Avorrito, Cheezylicious and Cookery Food Truck

Tickets are $28 for Akron Zoo members and $33 for non-members. Designated driver tickets are available for $17 for Akron Zoo members and $22 for non-members. A limited number of VIP tickets are $43 and $25 for designated drivers. Tickets must be purchased online in advance at akronzoo.org/brew-at-the-zoo.

Brew at the Zoo is 21 years or older. Infants and children will not be admitted into the event.

The Akron Zoo is open 361 days a year. Summer hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Admission is $13 for adults, $11 for seniors and $10 for children ages 2-14.
