Akron Zoo to Host an Adult Halloween Party

September, 25, 2025, AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Zoo is hosting an Adult Halloween Party on Saturday, Oct. 4 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. Tickets are available now at akronzoo.org.

Adults are encouraged to wear their favorite Halloween costume and join in fun activities, such as pong, monster freeze dancing, corn hole, a grizzly bear training session and more. Guests can sign up to participate in multiple contests throughout the evening, like a costume contest and witch cackling contest.

Local breweries and wineries will be offering tastings of beer and wine. Tickets include eight tastings. Vendors include Aeonian Brewing Company, Wrecking Crew Brew Works, Hoppin' Frog Brewery, Lock 15 Brewing Company, The Phoenix Brewing Company, Schnitz Ale Brewing Company, Thirsty Dog Brewing Co., Market Garden Brewing, Tramonte Distributing, Lincoln Way Vineyards, The Long Drink and CLE Urban Winery.

A specialty mocktail station will be available, provided by Majestic Tails. Food trucks – Eddie’s Famous Cheesesteaks, Dr. Hibachi and Johnny Lote’s Latin Street Corn – will also be on-grounds for purchase.

Tickets are $48 for Akron Zoo members and $53 for non-members. Designated driver tickets are $30 for Akron Zoo members and $35 for non-members. A limited number of special VIP tickets are available at $58. VIP designated driver tickets are $30. VIP tickets include early entrance at 6 p.m., four additional tastings, a full-size drink and a special treat.

Brew at the Zoo is a 21 and older only event, including designated drivers. Infants and children will not be admitted.

The Akron Zoo is open 361 days a year. Peak season hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Admission rates are $11 – $21. Children under two are free and parking is free. For more information visit www.akronzoo.org or call (330) 375-2550.
