Akron Zoo to Hold Virtual Auction

AKRON, Ohio – The Akron Zoo is holding a virtual auction. The Animal Art and Gift Auction will feature animal art and items from the zoo’s Gift Shop. Bids open on Friday, May 29 at 9 a.m. and close on Friday, June 5 at 6 p.m.

The items up for bid include various gift packages with Gift Shop items and artwork created by the animal ambassadors at the Akron Zoo. There will also be a ‘buy now’ option for zoo memberships, Care for Critter packages, virtual animal experiences and more.

Guests can access the auction at akronzoo.org/auction.

Shopping in the zoo gift shop is also available by appointment. Appointments are available from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily. Appointment requests must be received at least 24 hours in advance. Walk-ins will not be accommodated. Appointments are available by calling 330-375-2550 or emailing info@akronzoo.org.
