Akron/Summit Convention & Visitors Bureau Announces Year Two of the Treasure Trail

AKRON, OH (Oct. 28, 2025) – The Akron/Summit Convention & Visitors Bureau (ASCVB) is excited to announce the launch of the 2026 Treasure Trail on Saturday, Nov. 1. Back for its second year, this self-guided shopping adventure now features 25 retro, vintage and thrift stores across Summit County, each packed with unique finds and local charm. The Treasure Trail was created to highlight Summit County’s network of vintage and resale retailers.

Participants can begin their Treasure Trail journey by picking up a free printed passport at any of the 25 stores or by utilizing the digital version. Every purchase earns a passport stamp, and the minimum number of stamps needed for completion is 16. Upon completion, passports need to be submitted to the ASCVB, and participants will receive an exclusive Treasure Trail water bottle and be entered to win this year’s Treasure Trail Grand Prize Package (a $250 value). Participants can complete the trail with either the digital or printed version of the passport. Combinations will not be accepted.

“After such an incredible response in our first year, we’re thrilled to see the Treasure Trail return even bigger and better,” said Gregg Mervis, president and CEO of the ASCVB. “It’s a fun, engaging way to discover new shops and support local entrepreneurs right here in Summit County.”
