Located on the corner of South Main and East Market Streets, developer Tony Troppe redeveloped the 58,000 square foot historic structure into a modern day office building. The project includes retail use on the first floor and offices throughout the remaining space. WKYC, Channel 3 has located its Akron news broadcast studio in the United Building first floor, where it produces a local news show.

The building's future plans include a boutique hotel - The United 1: A Blu-tique hotel.
