Welcome to Summit Legal Defenders. We are a non-profit legal agency serving as the public defender for Summit County, Ohio. Our office handles felonies, misdemeanors, juvenile unruly and delinquency cases, parent representation in abuse, neglect and dependency cases, and contested adoptions for indigent citizens of Summit County. We have offices in downtown Akron, Barberton, and in the Summit County Juvenile, Akron and Stow courthouses.
