Stray Dog Cart has been rolling around Akron making people happy, and making Akron more Akrony.

Stray Dog at the Main Library opened in October of 2019. Its sidewalk accessible entrance is located at 75 S. Main Street otherwise know as King James Way. Access is also available through the Main Library on the first floor. Parking is available at the Library parking deck, across Main Street at the paid parking spaces or further down the street past the Library entrance.

It’s the very first version of Stray Dog Cafe and is now the model that we shape each location by. We began Stray Dog with a mission to be involved in the betterment of Akron and we are ecstatic to be here at the epicenter of Akron while we do it.  

Stray Dog at the Main Library is moments away from dozens of beautiful and iconic landmarks of Akron including The Akron Civic Theater, Lock 3, Canal Park and dozens of art installments sprinkled all over Main Street including the new sculpture at Mill Street and the Akron Stories kiosk where you can learn about Akron’s historic Rubber heritage.
