OOD works with schools, employers, businesses, and other public and community organizations to:

• Help individuals with disabilities find and keep jobs

• Prepare high school students with disabilities for the world of work and the next steps after graduation

• Support college students with disabilities in completing their degrees or credentials and planning careers that meet the demands of today's labor market

• Help students and adults with disabilities gain valuable work experience and access to state government employment through paid apprenticeships

• Provide supported employment services for working-age adults with developmental disabilities

• Assist Business Enterprise operators who are legally blind with their entrepreneurial careers in vending services

• Provide employment support for individuals in recovery who are served through certified specialized dockets
