Akron SCORE’s mission is to utilize the business knowledge and skills of its volunteer counselors to successfully guide entrepreneurs and existing small businesses toward their goals in Medina, Portage, Summit and Wayne Counties. The Akron chapter was formed in 1965 and has 50 counseling professionals with diverse business backgrounds. During 2019, Akron SCORE provided services to over 2,500 clients through face-to-face counseling and the over 100 business workshops it conducted. All mentoring services provided by this SCORE chapter are FREE and CONFIDENTIAL.
