Formed in 1965, SCORE Akron has 70 counseling professionals with diverse business backgrounds, providing free and confidential services to more than 3,000 clients each year through face-to-face counseling and more than 100 business workshops.
The mission of SCORE Akron is to stimulate the economies of Medina, Portage, Summit, and Wayne Counties by using the business knowledge and skills of our volunteers to guide and lead small business entrepreneurs and existing businesses toward their goals.
SCORE Akron's cadre of experienced mentors covers virtually every key business discipline, including production, sales, marketing, advertising, human resources, public relations, management, finance, engineering, and inventory control.
