About the book:
"My journey into ice cream started with a cookbook which cultivated my talents in ice cream. It gave me the confidence to try new flavors and expand my palate / palette. Each ingredient was like one color melding into the next to form an entirely new taste. Friends begged me to make their requests as long as it was edible & delicious. I was always up for the challenge. The flavors selected are the very best versions of themselves and are meant to be shared with friends, savored & enjoyed in tiny bites & small portions that leave you satisfied & full of delight. This book is a memory of those flavors and friendships told through the images that are universally known. I have used titles, trademarks, & caricatures of various artifacts of popular culture as a way of recalling & explaining my own life experiences, drawn with my own hand in the smallest way possible to convey that thought in the least amount of words possible. After all a picture tells 1,000 Words. None of the owners of these artifacts of popular culture have sponsored or endorsed my book, and it is independently authored and published."—Valerie Campbell
