The University of Akron Wind Symphony, led by the Director of Bands, is the premier ensemble for wind and percussion students at The University of Akron. Recognized as one of the Midwest’s leading wind groups, the Wind Symphony performs the finest wind band repertoire and is renowned for commissioning and premiering new works.
