The University of Akron Summer Symphonic Band is celebrating America’s 250th anniversary and legendary American composers with musicians from the School of Performing Arts and the greater Akron community.
Join us for the annual Summer Symphonic Band! Rehearsals will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays this year, beginning Monday, June 8th, and continuing Monday, June 22nd, from 6 - 7:30 p.m. in Guzzetta Recital Hall. We will perform a Concert on Monday, June 22nd at 7:30 p.m. (after dress rehearsal from 6 - 7 pm) in Guzzetta Recital Hall. Membership is open to any high school or collegiate students, directors, and/or community members.
