A native of Warren, Ohio, Michael Austin Bey comes from a celebrated family of musicians well known throughout the Warren area. His deep musical roots, charisma, and natural talent have shaped him into one of the region’s most recognized and respected jazz artists.
In 2007, Michael founded The Michael Austin Project, a dynamic ensemble that has grown to become one of the most followed bands across cities including Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Warren, Youngstown, and Pittsburgh. Blending smooth jazz with soulful R&B, their performances are known for infectious grooves, rich melodies, and an energy that captivates audiences of all ages.
