Join us at The University of Akron’s Guzzetta Hall for an immersive experience exploring the relationship between psychology, music, and emotion. Interactive conversations on psychological science will be interspersed between multiple musical performances from our campus community, including Professor Philip Thomson, Blimp City Quartet, and Roo Reeds. The event will conclude with a presentation from Featured Speaker Elizabeth Germano, Music Therapy Coordinator at Akron Children's Emily Cooper Welty Expressive Therapy Center.
Psychology & Music is presented in partnership with Psi Chi, The International Honor Society in Psychology and Tau Beta Sigma’s Epsilon Iota Chapter. Funding for this event is generously provided by Peg's Foundation.
