Details
Sam Poetry is a recording-artist and music producer from Niagara Falls, New York. Influenced by rappers such as Nas and Rakim, his sound is a throwback to hip hop’s early nineties golden era, combining hard-hitting beats and poetic lyrics. In 2018 he released his debut album entitled “Poetic Dope” independently and received critical acclaim amongst loyal fans. As a self proclaimed master of ceremonies, Sam has performed to packed crowds throughout the midwest, including such places as the world famous Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Chicago’s House of Blues. In addition to recording, Sam also doubles as an audio engineer and has worked with national recording artist such as Raheem DeVaughn and Machine Gun Kelly. During his off time in the music business Sam mentors and teaches music production to children through Cleveland’s school district. He’s currently working on a new EP and producing for local and national acts in the music industry.
