7:15PM: Mark Jarison sings folk music and plays guitar and harmonica in the style of Bob Dylan and Neil Young. He also performs his own original songs. Mark is originally from Philadelphia, PA. He started playing the ukulele at age nine and got his first guitar three years later. As a teenager, Mark could be found playing in local coffeehouses in the area. He was also a regular performer on a children’s TV show, “The World Around Us.” As a young adult, Mark performed “down the shore” in Wildwood, NJ bars for several years before relocating to Cleveland, OH. He played in local nightclubs there for several years and once played a “Coffee Break Concert” on WMMS radio. Recently, Mark bought a seasonal house in Port Charlotte, FL and started playing music again at several open mics in the area. He has also performed concerts at the Venice Centennial Park Gazebo and at Troll Music in Venice, Florida. Mark is now playing again in the Akron/Cleveland area. He played recently at Das Weinhaus in Litchfield, OH and is scheduled to play at the Frostville Farmers Market this summer. Please come out and support local music.
